Advances in Culturally Responsive Clinical Supervision

This presentation will focus on advances in culturally responsive clinical supervision. Fundamental concepts and definitions in cultural responsiveness more broadly such as privilege, oppression, and intersectionality, as well as common points of misunderstanding, will be reviewed. Multicultural Orientation and structural approaches will be briefly introduced as they apply to clinical supervision, and the research on culturally responsive clinical supervision will be discussed.
