Deadline: Impaired Driving Treatment Court Foundational Training

This training provides the roadmap for treatment courts to successfully serve individuals with impaired-driving offenses. It’s offered at little or no cost to your jurisdiction and can be customized for:

• Impaired driving treatment courts (e.g., DWI courts) in the planning stages
• Operational courts without formal training and/or with significant staff turnover
• Hybrid drug/DWI court programs

Accepted programs participate in 3.5-day training at or near the site of a designated academy court. The training includes guidance from experts on evidence-based best practices, as well as the chance to observe an established court program effectively serving individuals with impaired-driving offenses. At the end of the training, programs will have developed or improved program structures, operations manuals, and team dynamics.
